PhD Graduate Student
Ann completed her undergraduate degree at UBC in the Biochemistry Honours program. She took a break from school to work at a biotechnology company for several years before embarking on her journey to obtain a PhD in early 2016. Her project includes further establishing the synthetic human model of T-ALL and using it to answer questions about the mechanisms surrounding leukemogenesis and clonal heterogeneity. When she’s not in the lab, Ann may be found on the volleyball court or on her couch reading a book with her cat curled up on her lap.
