Abstract:

To date, how epigenetic changes are regulated during liver regeneration remains unclear. In this issue of Developmental CellWang and colleagues (2019) employed transcriptomic and epigenomic profiling to explore how Uhrf1, an epigenetic regulator of DNA methylation, functions in liver regeneration using a mouse model of partial hepatectomy.
